As the world accepted the battle for drug prevention, and each country has their own way to be a drug-free nation for the people, this two woman in bikinis have been arrested after being caught importing illegal drugs to Australia.
Melina Roberge, 22, and Isabelle Lagacé, 28, and a 63-year-old man were arrested and detained after Australian police raided the MS Sea Princess in Sydney where they discovered 95 kilos of cocaine stashed in a suitcase.
The said smuggling has been documented in the history of Australian territory; worth of the said contraband is $30.5million, recorded to be the highest amount of drugs that Australian police seized in a single operation.
Roberge and Lagacé have been enjoying glamorous travels in various countries before they have been arrested. They availed their travel on MS Sea Princess, a massive cruise ship which carries 2,000 people for round-the-world trips from the UK to Australia, cost around £8,500.
The two visited Canada, USA, Colombia, Peru and Auckland all before arriving in Australia. Roberge was able to document all the places they have been to and posted lavish and glamorous photos on her Instagram account.
The contraband has been discovered when cops sent sniffer dogs to the MS Sea Princess and caught their suitcase suspicious. The bust came after work along the side of US and Canadian authorities. The two, together with a man, now face life imprisonment if convicted of drug smuggling in Australia. An officer also indicated that they were aware of the various ways of drug smuggling in their country and declared the said operation a success after three persons have been arrested. However, they still have to conduct further investigation before making any activity for the three.
