The annual ‘Corso Zundert’ flower parade every September, showcases large and impressive flower sculptures. ‘Corso Zundert’ is an annual celebration of the Netherlands’ most iconic flower exports- Dahlias. Dahlia flowers are striking show stoppers in any garden and in Netherlands, its beauty is famed through floral masterpieces.
This year’s parade was accompanied by marching bands and was graced by amazing Dahlia sculptures with poignant elements. It catered 20 special floats, from magical creatures to creative portraits. The winner for this year’s flower parade was “Dangerous Transportation” which featured a giant dragon.
The Netherlands annual flower parade attracted 50,000 individuals this year and the country celebrated its’ global reputation of having 600,000 dahlia bulbs in different species.
